Angela Gonzalez at the MIDAC

The artistic season of this 2019 of the MIDAC Museum in Belforte del Chienti, continues with the fourth event of the year “Conexiones by Angela Gonzalez (Messico). The exhibition, curated by Terra dell’Arte and with the patronage of the Municipality of Belforte del Chienti, will be held in the former church of Saint Sebastian in the historical center of Belforte del Chienti, from Saturday, June 15th to Sunday, August 25th.

Angela González, dancer, painter and cultural manager born in Michoacán and currently lives in Tijuana, Mexico. Her training is in classical ballet, later acting as a professional dancer. She earned a diploma in reproduction of German and French porcelain dolls, and later completed her master’s degree at the Doll Artisan Guild School of Dollmaking in Rochester, New York.

In her professional training, she obtained various degrees in curatorship, museography and workshops on drawing, painting, graphics, metal manipulation and object art. Among which stand out the one of Design of scenic lighting in San Diego City College and another one in Promotion and cultural management, promoted by the National Mexican Council for the Culture and the Arts.

His foray into painting has been fruitful and he has participated in more than 90 solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Taiwan, Denmark, Argentina, Spain, the United States and Mexico.
