The 2023 artistic season of the MIDAC Museum in Belforte del Chienti continues with the fourth event of the year: “Visionaria” by Giancarla Lorenzini, personal exhibition, curated by Terra dell’Arte and with the patronage of the Municipal Administration of Belforte del Chienti, will take place from 9th September to 10th October 2023.
Giancarla Lorenzini, graduated from the Art Institute of Macerata, began taking photographs in 1981.
Since 2008 she have been part of the Recanati Photocineclub with which participate in the various annual group exhibitions, the Fiaf regional congresses and various initiatives.
She is photographic tutor and cultural animator at Agorà di Cult, Fiaf Culture Department, and Video Editor at TVRS.
She has on her credit numerous solo and group exhibitions, as well as many photographic publications.
Among other awards, she obtained first place in the digital photography category in the 2019 edition of the “Ventipertrenta” international digital art festival.
“With her research, Giancarla Lorenzini has reached a point where boring discussions about whether or not photography is an art become meaningless. The photography of this authress is pure art.”
