Charo Carrera at the MIDAC

The artistic season of this 2018 of the MIDAC Museum in Belforte del Chienti, continues with the fifth event of the year which is “Ancha es la vida solo show of Charo Carrera (Spain). The exhibition, curated by Terra dell’Arte and with the patronage of the Municipality of Belforte del Chienti, will be held in the former church of Saint Sebastian in the historical center of Belforte del Chienti, from Saturday, Septembre 15th to Sunday, October 28th.

Charo Carrera, born in Herrera de Pisuerga, province of Palencia, Spain, she lives and works in Malaga. Graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, she attended the course of “Photographic process applied to graphic techniques” at the Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea, A Coruña, the course of “Sculpture in iron” at the Center d’Art Contemporani “La Rectoría”, Barcelona, the workshop of “Artistic Serigraphy” at the Centro Murciano de Arte Gráfico y Estampa Contemporánea, Murcia and the course of “Photo engraving with polymers. Non-toxic additive techniques” in Madrid.

Count with more than 130 exhibitions of which 35 are personal. She has exhibited in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and her works are part of numerous public and private collections all over the world.

It is like an endless journey, a map that we can intuit but never completely understand. And when the moment of revelation, when everything fits, one enter in contact with the life. With the wide life.
